John BratlienAt Avenue, John serves as the lead strategist for client engagements, working with executive teams to help them create bold new directions for their brands and go-to-market strategies. He has over a decade of international strategy consulting experience, helping teams and leaders grow their organizations. He has proven expertise in the domains of marketing and strategy.

Prior to joining Avenue, John served as Director of Marketing Strategy and Brand Development for Redbox. There he helped re-design marketing and communications for the $2B publicly-held company.

Prior to joining Redbox, John worked with Monitor Group, where he helped grow the marketing and consumer insights practice (M2C) in North America and Europe. John served clients operating out of London, Istanbul, Singapore, Boston, and Chicago.

He led successful initiatives to achieve organic and inorganic growth both from the launch of new products and services as well as expansion from organizational cores into new markets and service lines. John’s client engagements spanned B2B and B2C industries.

John holds a BA in Economics and History from Beloit College and an MBA from Harvard University.
