Bob is a strategist and creative director. His career has been focused on launching new products, services and companies, and helping executives transform their market presence. He has worked with CEOs and executive teams at companies including IBM, Weber Grill, Interface, Canyon Ranch, Harley-Davidson, US West, General Electric, Ameritrade, Sara Lee and Coca-Cola, among others.

Prior to founding Avenue, he led the Brand Strategy and Retail/Consumer Goods practice for iXL — an agency with 23 offices worldwide. In this role he was one of nine thought leaders dedicated to creating the processes and best practices for brand and internet strategy. Prior to iXL he led strategic and creative direction at VSA Partners.

His work has been recognized by dozens of creative and business publications. He is active in the industry, judging award shows, speaking on the issues of branding and marketing strategy, and participating in the Midwest Entrepreneur Forum, a non-profit group that reviews business plans and provides consultation for startups. He recently graduated from Harvard Business School's Executive Management program on Brand and Marketing Strategy, and is a member of the TED Conference.
