

Mike's expertise in business, marketing and web development has helped lead the strategies for large and high-growth companies such as General Electric, Discover Card, Allstate, Kraft, Sears, Popsicle, Baxter, Vosges Chocolates, Weber, Flor, among others. Prior to founding Avenue, he founded Ionix, an online agency which was acquired by iXL to become their Chicago office. As Senior VP of Operations at iXL, he managed over 175 people in Engineering, E-Commerce, Creative, Information Architecture, Quality Assurance and Business Analysis.
For fifteen years he has run the business plan review committee for Midwest Entrepreneur Forum, a non-profit that helps early stage companies by providing comprehensive and constructive business plan reviews and consultation. Mike holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and is a member of the TED Conference.
